Being part of M-real, Espoo/ Finland, the M-real Zanders GmbH is the European market leader for coated and uncoated paper. The business is renowned for its quality double-sided coated fine paper ikono and Zanders Mega.

Assignment
M-real Zanders aimed at offering their customers an easier and more comfortable search function.

Implementation
The flexible import/export mechanisms of the Product Information Management System infuniq^® allow for the product data to be split into parameter-settable and researchable attributes after they have been serviced by Zanders. This way, they can be configured by using the PowerSearch. Using templates, the J2EE-based system, they can be adjusted to individual visual requirements.

Details
Customers can search for products according to paper-specific attributes. A table containing all attributes will help them find the appropriate paper. If the name of the product is already known, the product can be found by using the full-text search and entering the product name. If the intended purpose, but not the name, is known, the customer uses the option-search thrugh applicability. When the appropriate product has been found, the customer can look at the details and order it.

Functions

Paper search:
With only a few clicks, suitable paper can be found via various search mechanisms, whereby a search via product groups, application areas or keywords is possible. All information required for the search is imported into the database, so that product characteristics and availability can be entered directly into the Zanders information system in Bergisch-Gladbach.

Online order:
Marketing brochures, posters or paper samples can be ordered directly via the website. Any e-mails, which are generated from the order system, are sent to a central address of the Customer Services.

Full text search:
A keyword-oriented full text search enables the search of all contents included on the website and provides a direct link to the result page.

Trader and branch search:
Country- and product-dependent search mechanism. All data is externally maintained and is taken over into the database via an import.
