Perleberg chooses infuniq®

Having gained fame by selling greeting cards adorned with Swarovski crystal beads, today publishing house Perleberg Verlag is also conquering the gift articles market with so-called Bigfoot characters, like the bestseller "Grumbling doll". From now on, the website of the Bochum-based company will present itself with a new look under www.shop.perleberg-verlag.de. By opening their new online shop – based on the Product Information Management Systems infuniq® of infuniq Systems GmbH – Perleberg shows how simple and easy online shopping can be. After the initial registration, customers have the option of using personalized functionalities such as creating individual shopping baskets. Based on his or her shopping history, the customer will automatically receive cross-Selling recommendations. In a second expansion phase, Perleberg will offer a gift service: the customer selects an article, he can then have it delivered to an address of his choice. Also, in planning, is the link to a payment system, which will guarantee easy and secure payment by credit card.
With infuniq® all product information can be serviced and administered in one central data base. In order to relieve perleberg´s employees, recurring orders as well as frequently asked questions can be processed automatically on the website. The online system will be supplied with the price information that is necessary for an order by an internal ERP-System.
With infuniq® the infuniq systems GmbH offers a product that enables even small and medium sized companies to enter the PIM-market. The product has a modular structure and can be upgraded by desired functions any time. There are three modules: infuniq®pure, infuniq®web and infuniq®print.
infuniq® 1.0 is a J2EE based server application that is available anywhere through a web client without any installation. Additionally, infuniq® uses a Java-based, platform independent Rich-Client (RCP) with a higher degree of operational comforts. Furthermore, the PIM-System allows for a seamless connection to external systems such as CMS, ERP or CRM.
