König & Meyer generates product catalogues at the push of a button
Essen, 24. August 2009
The manufacturer of musical instruments König & Meyer has optimized its catalogue production. K&M decided on the Product Information Management System infuniq® in order to store and manage product information centrally in a media-neutral format. The PIM-System allows for all marketing documents, such as the 300-page central catalogue and a 200-page booklet with product information to be generated in two languages (German and English). By generating catalogues automatically, K&M is gearing up for the future: within a short period of time, all documents can be produced with minimal effort and little manpower.
In addition to adopting all product data, the product portfolios were designed to be flexible and updatable. By introducing infuniq®, product information will be made available at the touch of a button. Subsequently, the time-consuming search in various databases or repositories is no longer necessary.
For producers, the conversion to a centralised Product Information Management does not only mean a significantly improved customer service, but also a cost reducing and time-saving solution. The company decided in favour of the product infuniq® that enables especially small and medium-sized companies to enter the PIM market. The product is designed modularly and can be updated by the required functions any time. Apart from infuniq®pure, infuniq®web and infuniq®print, additional modules such as infuniq®commerce, infuniq®flow and infuniq®edit are available.
